Research: Suicide Determined Since the Baby

Believe it or not, the actions of a person to commit suicide was already determined when the baby was born first. This was revealed in the results of research conducted by a team from Sweden led by Dr. Danuta Wasserman who conducted the study to 700,000 adolescents.
From the research, Dr Danuta Wasserman was known that the baby's weight at birth to determine future risk of suicide. Infants born below average have twice as high risk to commit suicide than babies born normally. The risk would be higher if the mothers who gave birth to the age of adolescence.
Dr Danuta Wasserman research results which represents researchers from `the National Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention` (Stockholm), was published by The Lancet medical journal. Menuru Dr Danuta Wasserman, genetic factors play an important role in these suicides.
Research carried out by following all the data from infants born between 1973 and 1980 by looking at the trend of suicides that occurred at the age of 10 years to 26 years. Overall suicide rates that occurred in Sweden in 1999 ranged from 20 people for every 100.00 populations. According to the study, babies born weighing less than 2 kg will be hit two times higher risk of experiencing suicidal compared with infants born to normal 3:25 kg - 3.75 kg.
While the children born of mothers less than age 19 years will also have a risk of suicide threats when compared to mothers aged 20 to 29 years. Length instead of time a baby is born also examined by Dr Danuta Wasserman. According to him, the baby was born less than 47 cm would have a tendency to commit suicide when compared with babies who are born with 50 or 51 cm long.
"The study we did did not give a definitive answer about the risk of suicide," he said. "But at least we found a significant relationship between pre-birth as a determining factor. I think genetics and environmental factors become very important factor."
Dr Danuta Wasserman suggested that the mother during pregnancy to maintain good nutrition, including not consuming alcohol and drugs.
