Nearly half of infants born prematurely will face problems such as learning disability and difficulty in the future. 'The Epicure' study of 1200 babies born before 26 weeks from 38 weeks which should be passed by a mother during pregnancy.
They still, after half of these premature infants at risk of learning difficulties affected the estimated likely need glasses. When the premature baby was growing up, then at the age of six years of this risk will increase two-fold.
The Epicure study based on the monitoring of babies born in England and Ireland in 1995, especially babies who were born before the pregnancy enters its 26th week. The Epicure stated that the publications they provide in order that parents can understand the problems faced by their children who are born prematurely.
For baby boys exposed to the risk of a number of problems would be 2.4 times higher than female babies. But a team researchers did not explain what causes the inability of risk accepted by the baby's premature. Research leader, Neil Marlow, professor of the University of Nottingham hope the doctors and parents can be prepared when the baby is premature.
